This Volunteer Program provides a great opportunity to find out more about working in a healthcare environment, developing their skills and experience in the education related to Genetic counselling.
Responsibilities
- Work as patient educator under direct supervision of the section preceptor.
- Provide assistance to genetic counselors as needed.
- Assist in providing patient and family with the needed education for genetic counselling purposes.
- Assist in providing the best-targeted education as needed.
- Facilitate the process of patient’s family genetic testing.
- Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Safety and Infection control practices.
Eligibility
- Must have a Bachelor degree in(Health Education, Nursing,Health Allied Field or other related field).
- Have a communicative level in English language (intermediate level).
- Able to volunteer for (8) weeks.
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Adhere to the business hours from Sunday through Thursday.
- Working hours: 08:00 am – 04:00 pm.
