This Volunteer Program provides an excellent opportunity to enrich volunteers’ experience in the Food Services field and develop their practical skills and knowledge in hospital food service operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tray line monitoring and patient meal tray assembly activities.
- Assist in checking patient meal trays to ensure compliance with diet orders and meal accuracy.
- Support Food Services operations including receiving, storage, food production, and meal distribution.
- Assist in maintaining Food Services records and documentation.
- Support QR code meal ordering rounds and patient satisfaction activities.
- Assist in food temperature monitoring, labeling, and HACCP documentation.
- Support hygiene and food safety monitoring activities.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of Food Services areas.
- Follow all hospital policies, Food Safety and HACCP.
- Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Safety and Infection control practices.

Eligibility
- Have an educational background in one of the following fields:
- ( Bachelor / Associate Degree / Diploma in Nutrition, Food Services, Food Science, or related field.)
- Have a communicative level in English language (intermediate level).
- Submit the Health Screening Form.
- Able to volunteer for eight (8) weeks.
- Adhere to the following business hours from Sunday - Thursday:
- Working hours: 08:00 am – 04:00 pm * expect Thursdays: 08:00 am - 03:00 pm.
