This program offers a structured opportunity for volunteers to gain hands-on experience in anesthesia services, strengthen their competencies, and support safe and efficient perioperative patient care.
Responsibilities
- Work as a anesthesia technologist under the direct supervision of the assigned anesthesia technologist or section preceptor.
- Assist in preparing and arranging anesthesia supplies and equipment.
- Assist in checking anesthesia machines and related equipment before procedures.
- Assist in preparing airway management equipment such as laryngoscopes, endotracheal tubes, LMAs, and suction devices.
- Assist in preparing and restocking anesthesia carts, trolleys, and consumables.
- Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and inspecting anesthesia equipment according to infection control standards.
- Assist in transporting anesthesia equipment and supplies between different hospital areas as needed.
- Assist in maintaining anesthesia workrooms, storage areas, and supply organization.
- Assist in preparing monitoring accessories and other required items for routine anesthesia care.
- Area of services: Operating Rooms, Recovery Area, Labor and delivery and all other outside anesthesia-related locations as applicable such as Endoscopy, Radiology and Cath lab.
- Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Safety and Infection control practices.

Eligibility
- Must have a diploma / bachelor degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related allied health specialty.
- Must have a valid Saudi council license.
- Submit the Health Screening Form.
- Able to volunteer for 8 weeks.
- Adhere to the following business hours from Sunday - Thursday:
- Working hours: 07:00 am – 04:00 pm * expect Thursdays: 07:00 am - 03:00 pm.
