A program centered around our hospitalized patients, aimed at providing direct emotional and moral support to patients and their families. You can make a difference for patients by giving them your time by supporting them.
Volunteers will be expected to visit patients' units and provide compassionate services; whereby they may find a common interest such as games, telling stories, having walks in our local garden or when permissible, taking them to one of our coffee shops. The basic rule is to have fun times and make the patient, sitter, and/or family feel cared for and respected.
