This Volunteer Program provides a great opportunity to enrich the volunteers' experience in Nutrition field, and develop their skills and knowledge as Dietitian Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Work as a dietitian assistant under the direct supervision of the assigned clinical dietitian or section preceptor.
- Assist in providing related administrative support.
- Assist in measuring and recording patients’ weight and height as applicable.
- Assist in issuing nutrition supplies from Medical store.
- Assist in conducting rounds and visitation for checking if the received patient’s meals matches the diet orders.
- Assist in Monitoring tray lines in Food Services as assigned.
- Assist in monitoring the preparation of inpatient formula.
- Assist in maintaining and arranging nutrition supply store.
- Provide support and assistance to the clinical dietician as needed.
- Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Safety and Infection control practices.

Eligibility
- Bachelor/Associate Degree/Diploma in General Nutrition.
- Communicative leave in English language.
- Submit Healthcare checklist.
- Able to volunteer for 4 weeks.
- Adhere to the business hours:
- Sunday – Wednesday from 08:00 am – 04:00 pm.
- Thursday from 08:00 – 03:00 pm.
