This Volunteer Program provides a great opportunity to enrich the volunteers' experience in different aspect of the Blood Bank and develop their skills, while gaining the required knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Work under a direct supervision of the section preceptor as a technician.
- Assist in checking Vital Signs for all potiential blood donors.
- Provide assistance in the process of drawing blood.
- Provide support and need assistance to the blood donors as needed.
- Assist in providing the needed related information as applicable.
- provide Aissistance in the registration process.
- Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Safety and Infection control practices.

Eligibility
- Must have a Bachelor degree in one of the following:
- (Medical Technology in Clinical laboratory sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Toxicology, Nursing or other related specialty).
- Must have a valid Saudi council license.
- Able to volunteer for (6) weeks.
- Flexible to work from Sunday- Saturday:
- Morning Shift 08:00 A.M – 04:00 P.M
- Evening Shift 02:00 P.M– 10:00 P.M
Working hours depend on the need and activities of Blood Bank such as blood donation campaigns; which might be after business hours.

- KFSH&RC Blood Bank
- Other locations, such as, Government institutions, Ministries, Agencies and Companies.
